You don't what exactly? ...Water? But I'm not really thirsty at the moment.

[Amanda just slumps down once again looking at her surroundings. It doesn't even resemble where she used to be.]

From:

Water. For your nerves.

[ a bit of a pause, as he tries to find his words. ]

I don't know where this is. You won't find home easily. And unpleasant things happen to everyone here.

Okay so unknown place where bad things happen. Sounds...How long have you found yourself here for?

[A blonde girl comes on screen from what appears to be a clothing store.]

Definitely not Destiny or HomeWorld Command. It's called The City. Doesn't make a lotta sense I know.

[Amanda appears to be frowning trying to figure all this out.]

Tyler. Rose Tyler. You can just call me Rose though. Don't mind.

Sometimes, yeah. We get these curses. Lately they've been all right though. Some people got sick and had bright red noses a few days ago. We had a blizzard, bunch of us wrote letters to Santa. Some people robbed stores and the like. I think most of it was given back since it was a curse. There was mistle toe all over the City and everybody was kissin' everybody.

S'not so bad as some people make out. I think the City's brilliant. [She's in the minority though.]

Rose. And where do you hail from, Rose?

Oh? Unable to go home though. That is troubling. Why do you find the City brilliant, Rose?

It happens here. [That's meant to be comforting but Rose is fairly sure it isn't. Not if Amanda is anything like the Doctor and it sounds like she might be.]

[Rose nods a bit] Yeah. Lucked out here. You'll be all right though. People are lovely here. Helpful and kind, y'know?
